Dareyn, which means ‘two worlds’ in the Ottoman language, combines thethe mystical sound of the kemenche – with its heritage of traditional musicoriginating from Istanbul and the Silk Road – with the deep-rooted sound of thevoice and piano in a contemporary fashion.Echoes of the Silk Road is a dynamic musical collaboration that brings togetherthe talents of three female artists from South Korea and Turkey.Through a fusion of Korean, Turkish, Western Classical, and jazz music, theensemble creates a captivating blend of diverse musical traditions.
