The Rafael Slors Trio, based in Rotterdam, is an emerging jazz ensemble formedthrough friendship and shared passion. Comprised of Rafael Slors on drums, EvaSerrano on double bass, and Francisco Rodriguez on piano, their close bond fostersa highly interactive musical chemistry.
Inspired by artists like Avishai Cohen, Phronesis, and Shai Maestro, Rafael Slorscreates compositions with rich melodies and rhythmic innovation, drawing frominfluences like Bach and contemporary styles. Their shared understanding allowsthem to explore a wide range of musical ideas with authenticity and depth.
Influenced by Mark van Roon and Stefan Livestro, the Rafael Slors Trio isdetermined to shape their own path in the jazz world, eager to share their soundand connect with audiences.
For this concert, trumpeter Jakob Lampert will be featured as special guest.
