In perpetual search of an authentic voice, Rita Brancato inquires about the emancipation of drums between jazz and electronic, with an open ear to natural timbres. With her new project "Run Into The Apocalypse" she aims at putting together what she has been researching for two years at Codarts University’s Master: how to expand the possibilities of a drum set with live electronics. To do so, she and her hybrid drums pair up with two great horn players long established in the Netherlands:
