Bill Evans joined the Miles Davis Band Group at the age of 22 and has had a successful solo career for over 30 years. During the past years, he continues to innovate with fresh ensembles. His latest group is the BILL EVANS VansBand All Stars ft. Gary Husband, Felix Pastorius & Keith Carlock.
Gary Husband is keyboard legend. (Allan Holdsworth, John McLaughlin, Billy Cobham & Level 42). Keith Carlock has been at the helm of some of todays biggest bands (Sting, Steely Dan, John Mayer). Felix Pastorius has been on the cutting edge of electric bass for over two decades (David Byrne, Cindy Blackman-Santana, the Yellowjackets).
They are all here to create music and connect with audiences that can feel their contagious grooves and melodies. Bill Evans: “We have all played together in different projects over the years, and we are very excited to finally be on the same stage together, as a group, making music. We have talked about this combination of musicians for years and it’s finally happening!“
This group will be playing music from their collective backgrounds and influences - soul, funk, neo-jazz, pop. There are no boundaries.
