The Artvark Quartet has composed new music and this time they have drawn inspiration from texts about life, described from a female perspective! In perfect harmony, somewhere between jazz and classical, Artvark, along with the versatile singer Claron Mc Fadden as a special guest, form a quintet.
Mc Fadden has selected an intriguing and diverse range of philosophical, spiritual, and humorous texts as the basis for this versatile program: from Sappho from ancient Greece (ca. 630 – ca. 570 BC) to an anonymous letter in The Guardian, from Emily Dickinson to texts by Mc Fadden herself.
In many areas of our society, even in the arts, the male perspective is usually projected. In this program, Artvark & Mc Fadden want to invite themselves and the audience to listen to different perspectives.
